BELGIAN ALE BBQ BASTE
prep time :
recipe type: BBQ, mops and marinades
ingredients: 4 oz. raspberry vinegar
8 oz. Saison
2 tablespoons salt
2 teaspoons ground white pepper
1 tablespoon red pepper flakes
2 tablespoons minced garlic
2 tablespoons fresh-squeezed lemon juice
2 tablespoons firmly packed brown sugar

Blend all and let stand for several hours before using. Brush on ribs while BBQ over slow low heat (if grilling, put foil beneath ribs to prevent flareups). Yield about 1 pint, enough to baste 4-5 lbs. ribs.
